HORSES MAY BE BROUGHT IN AFTER 4:00 P.M. ON SUNDAY, JULY 25. Current negative Coggins is required & must be posted on stall. Class divisions: Senior-age 16-19; Junior-age 13-15; Young Child-age 9-12 (on a horse-includes Exceptional Riders); Pony-age 9-12 (pony defined as 56 inches tall or less); Pee-Wee-age 5-8. Ages based on age as of Jan. 1 of current fair year. You can not show in youth if you will be 20 before Jan. 1 of the current fair year. Most 4-H guidelines including helmets for youth will be followed. Novice riders may only show in novice classes-someone who has never shown before or 1-2 times.
A limit of 2 exhibits per class in Trail, Gymkhana, and Reining. Grand & Reserve overall trophies will be given for English, Western, and Gymkhana.
Points from Fitting/Showing, Trail, English/Western, & for Grand & Reserve ribbons and roving trophies may be credited to either English or Western, determined by the attire worn by the exhibitor. Points will be six points for first in class; four for third; three for fourth; and one for fifth. For lead line class youth must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Roving trophies: If ten entries are in a class, ten points go for first, nine points for second, eight for third, down to one for tenth. No premiums paid. Attire will determine where points go. May ride or show Fit/Show, Trail, in Western or English. If competing in versatility must inform office first thing including horse name, visual check of horse for documentation. MUST RIDE SAME HORSE IN ALL EVENTS. Awards per class basis.
